The State of Washington WA Boiler Section (a division of Labor and Industries) oversees all boilers and pressure vessels in the State of Washington. The Washington Boiler Inspection Program enforces standards governing the installation, operation and closure of boilers. Inspections are performed by Washington Boiler Section inspectors and by special (insurance company) inspectors commissioned by Washington to perform these boiler inspections.
