The State of New Jersey NJ Boiler Section (a division of Labor and Workforce Development) oversees all boilers and pressure vessels in the State of New Jersey. The New Jersey Boiler Inspection Program enforces standards governing the installation, operation and closure of boilers. Inspections are performed by New Jersey Boiler Section inspectors and by special (insurance company) inspectors commissioned by New Jersey to perform these boiler inspections.
