  Kentucky KY Boiler Laws and Codes
  Kentucky KY Boiler SectionThe State of Kentucky KY Boiler Section oversees all boilers and pressure vessels in the State of Kentucky. The State has adopted the ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (including CSD-1 for controls and safety devices for automatically fired boilers) and requires "R" stamped repair entities for welded repairs. The Boiler Inspection Section inspects uninsured boiler and pressure vessels including related piping for proper installation, maintenance and operation to prevent explosions.
